Research
The research phase began with an analysis of existing apps that offer similar peer-to-peer delivery and travel-based services. These platforms were deconstructed to understand their core features, user flows, and pain points.
To complement this analysis, a survey was created to gather insights around logistics, trust, and user expectations. The findings helped inform key design decisions, ensuring the project responded directly to real user needs and behaviors.
Personas
User journey maps were created to understand the experience from three key perspectives: the sender, the courier, and the recipient. Mapping each role separately helped identify unique needs, touchpoints, and potential friction points throughout the delivery process.

Use Case Scenario
Maya is headed to San Francisco for a big presentation when she realizes she left her hard drive in Los Angeles. She calls her friend Olivia, who opens Relay and posts a delivery request. She’s quickly matched with Jordan, a verified college student already driving from LA to San Francisco for his internship.
Olivia hands the drive to Jordan, tracks the delivery in real time, and Jordan drops it off to Maya at her hotel—getting her files to her safely and on time.

Summary
This project explores a peer-to-peer delivery app that connects travelers with people who need to send small, time-sensitive items. By leveraging existing travel routes and prioritizing trust, communication, and transparency, the app creates a faster and more accessible alternative to traditional delivery services.
